STANDARD TUITION PAYMENTS- TERMS & CONDITIONS COVID-19 UPDATED

  1. Invoices will be sent electronically to your registered email address, and payment can be made via BACs or card ONLY.
  2. Any lost invoices will incur an admin fee of £3 to resend.
  3. Invoices can be accessed via the parent portal.
  4. Failure to make any payments before or on the specified invoice due date or by any agreed instalment date, WILL result in your child being removed from the class and their place being offered to the next person on the waiting list.
  5. No refund of fees will be given for non attendance by students- this is common practicein dance schools as it deters from poor attendance and results in a higher standard ofwork.
  6. Refunds will only be given if Absolute Dance has had to cancel a class- in this situationyou will be issued a credit note against the following invoice and notified by email/textas early as possible.
  7. For each 4-week period (commencing from the day after the invoice due date) that anypayment or balance is unpaid a £5 late charge will be added to your unpaid invoice andyour child(ren) will be removed from their class(es) until payment is made.
  8. Absolute Dance reserves the right to change class prices, timetable, or shop priceswithout notice, however we will endeavour to notify parents as early as possible eitherverbally or by email.
  9. All new applicants are required to pay the £10 registration fee at their first trial and willreceive 2 weeks of free trials. (These trials must be consecutive weeks).
  10. Payments for Standard tuition are priced per class but paid in full each term. The firstweek of payment is the first week after trial 2.
  11. You must confirm if you wish to continue or not with the classes at the end of thesecond trial.
  12. We appreciate that this time of year making payments can be difficult, please contactthe office if you require more time or would prefer a payment plan. If we do not know ofany payment difficulties, you will still be liable to pay any admin or late fee charges onthe outstanding payments.
  13. If you wish to discontinue any classes, half a term (minimum of 6 weeks) notice must begiven in writing (email or letter). Failure to provide enough written notice will incur thecost of the following half term (6 weeks) which you will be liable to pay.
  14. Upon paying your first invoice (written or electronic) you hereby agree to our Terms andconditions as laid out above.

STANDARD & PRIVATE DANCE TUITION- GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS COVID-19 UPDATE

  1. Dance is a physically activity and every precaution will be taken to ensure that the student's safety is optimum whilst in class.
  2. Parents will be required to drop the student at the beginning of the class and leave. No parents will be permitted into the dance class for safety reasons.
  3. Parents will be given an allotted pick up and drop off time for their child(ren) which MUST be adhered to for the safety of staff and other students at this time.
  4. Any students arriving late must wait for a safe time to enter the dance class, NO ONE is to enter or leave the dance class without the teacher's permission.
  5. Any parents collecting their child(ren) late must wait for the teacher to bring their child(ren) at a safe and suitable time. Parents are not permitted to enter the dance class.
  6. Class numbers will be restricted to 15 so that safe social distancing can be maintained and upheld.
  7. Students MUST arrive in their correct dance uniform and have been to the toilet before arrival at the venue. Regulation uniform & Hair style as specified on our website- this is can be purchased through us at your dance class. It is compulsory to wear correct uniform to your class so that teachers can see the body and correct placements and lines to achieve the optimum in the dance class and prevent injuries from students working incorrectly. Longhair should be worn in a Bun for all ballet classes and tied back off the face and neck for all other dance classes. If hair is too short for a bun then a hair band must be purchased from us to be worn.
  8. During your dance class at Absolute Dance physical contact maybe necessary when correcting or demonstrating. Hand sanitiser will be used before and after touching any individual student.
  9. There will be no changing facilities on either site.
  10. Toilets are for Absolute Dance staff, students with back to back classes and emergency use only.
  11. Snacks & water bottles are only to be bought into the dance class by students with more than one class on that day
  12. Snacks are to be bought in in a plastic bag so that rubbish can be disposed of and not taken home. (we appreciate that this is not environmentally friendly but currently we need to minimise potential contamination between homes/venues).
  13. Water bottles are only permitted for the children that have back to back or more than one class on the same day.
  14. Personal belongings will not be permitted into the dance class- coats/hats/outdoor shoes/gloves etc must be left with the parents/guardian at drop off.
  15. Only dance attire required for that day’s class(es) will be allowed in the dance class.
  16. Absolute Dance does not accept liability for any injury or accident.
  17. Absolute Dance does not accept responsibility for any lost or stolen items, however any items that are left behind will be put in the lost property box.
  18. Students will be put forward for their dance exam or competitions only when they have reached the correct age requirement (as laid out by the examining board) AND when they have reached the standard needed to pass the exam. This is at the individual teacher’s discretion and the final decision lays with the Principal.
  19. Teachers/Staff/Chaperones must be notified at the beginning or at the earliest point possible within your dance class/show/competition regarding any injury or illness.
  20. You must not bring your child(ren) if they are ill. This includes, temperatures, colds, tummy upsets or any other but not limited to other viral or bacterial infections.
  21. Parents/Guardians are not permitted to watch any class at this current time.
  22. No buggies or Prams will be permitted into the dance class or reception area- for health, safety & hygiene reasons. There are no exceptions. Baby car seats are permitted only.
  23. Any student representing the school either through shows, competitions, auditions, or professional work must wear the Absolute Dance tracksuit and conduct themselves in a professional, polite, and respectful manner always. Parents/guardians will also be required to be polite, respectful, and professional always when supporting their child at these events.
  24. Students who represent the school at competitions, auditions and professional work must take at least 1 class per week in the relevant dance style. Ballet class & Competition Squad is compulsory for participating at competitions, auditions & professional work
  25. Teachers and staff will clean the floor in between each class with a steam cleaner.
  26. Teachers and staff will wash their hands before and after each class.
  27. Students will be required to use hand sanitiser before entering the dance class and before leaving.
  28. Classes will stop 5 mins early to allow ample time for cleaning of the dance floor, students to sanitise their hands prior to going home and safe pick up.
  29. Classes will begin 5 mins later to allow for the dance floor to dry, students to sanitise their hands before class begins and for safe drop off.

PRIVATE TUITION PAYMENTS TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Payments must be made in full by Bacs before or in cash at the first lesson. No Payment =no lesson.
  2. Whilst our teachers appreciate your notice of cancellation all payments and room bookings are handled through the office so you must contact us first.
  3. Less than 2 days’ notice on cancellations = £12.50 cancellation fee (30 mins) or £18.25 (for45mins) will be charged.
  4. 15min lesson costs- Miss Jo £15 or Miss Ronni £12.50
  5. The FULL lesson fee will be charged in case of non-attendance or less than 24hr notice of non-attendance.
  6. Due to the private tuition schedule if you’re late for your lesson you will forfeit any time & cost. The studio &halls are all used after we finished and so we cannot run late, you must arrive in time for your lesson to not waste time getting dressed etc.
